Ordinance
From Park to Park is written into the city’s ordinance

The land is more than 6,000 acres of desert on Phoenix’s north edge, next to a boom in chip plants. Before a single home went up, the city had to approve a plan for all of it.
We wrote six profiles of the people NorthPark is for, from families moving across the world for the chip plants to the nurses, baristas and first responders who keep a town running. Nature had become a premium amenity, so the plan started with the parks.

Pulte’s team and the planners set the priorities together in one workshop, with natural beauty, care for the desert and a real mix of homes among them.

The vision is From Park to Park: parks inside one big park, with development bending around the desert. Seven principles put it in words a council can adopt, and our naming process gave the community its name.

Every piece after the strategy was briefed from it, the entitlement documents and the marketing included.
